Join HW Home for an evening of books, design, music, and a little cosmic wonder as we welcome Denver author Tiffany Nieslanik for a celebration and signing of her debut science-fiction novel, Home Planet.
Set against the backdrop of our new HW Home flagship showroom at 9+CO, the evening brings together storytelling, community, and creativity for a night inspired by the world of Home Planet.
In Tiffany Nieslanik's debut novel, astronaut Bryn is preparing for the mission she has spent her life training for: a solo journey to explore Caerus, a distant habitable planet that may represent humanity's last hope. Then, just three days before launch, she discovers she's pregnant.
What follows is an intimate and propulsive journey through space as Bryn confronts secrets surrounding her mission, an increasingly complicated relationship with the ship's AI, and questions much larger than the planet she was sent to explore.
At its heart, Home Planet explores identity, motherhood, technology, power, humanity, and what—or who—is worth fighting for.
For one night, HW Home will take a cue from Tiffany's universe and create an atmosphere somewhere between a book celebration and an evening among the stars.
Guests can expect food and drinks, music from a live DJ, photography, book signing, and conversation with Tiffany, and special space-inspired experiences throughout the showroom.
