English photographer Ben Wood is best known for his action shots of racing yachts, particularly those wonderful J-Class racing yachts which take part in the Americas Cup competitions. Here is something entirely different from him. It's his take on the Tree of Life - the rings on the cross-section of a sawn tree trunk tell the age of the tree and pictorially offers an image that is full of texture.
